The Outsiders
are coming!

THE OUTSIDERS ARE COMING! This project highlights the way we treat outsiders: with interest? with suspicion? with an open heart? with contempt? These Outsiders want to be included. How will people at Scotiabank Nuit Blanche respond to an invitation to participate in a project where openness and hospitality lie at its heart?

Throughout the night of Nuit Blanche Outsiders will appear in the downtown core. The life-sized, luminous, human-like forms are visiting Toronto for the first time. They need your help. 'I am an Outsider. If you find me, take me with you, take a photo, pass me on.'

Visit Outsiders2012 HQ at the Urban Eatery in the lower level of the Toronto Eaton Centre. This is where they all start their journey. One by one each Outsider will be dispatched from HQ to various downtown locations. See live coverage of their experience and the city's response.
